You can actually start today regaining control of your life and make this day the day that you become free from the diet cycle. You Need Support
It is important to find people who you can trust so you can inform them of your plans. These people should be supportive of your goals. You can look for supportive friends and family, or support groups created for dieters. The people who you choose as your support circle will need to be there for you when you feel weak or tempted to indulge in foods that you should not eat.
You Need Reinforcement
You need someone who you can meet with on a monthly basis that can help you tweak your goals, and keep you accountable of your decision to break free from dieting. This person should not pass judgment; they should only help you stay on track.
You Need To Learn How to Cope
Just because you made the decision to not lose weight by dieting does not mean that you will never be faced with tempting foods again. You will go to family gatherings, weddings, etc. where you will see food that you once enjoyed. It is important to have coping skills so you can deal with the issue appropriately and walk away without feeling stressed or anxious.
You can lose weight without dieting if you learn to:
