Request Account & Data Deletion

At Haba Naija, we respect your privacy and believe you should have control over your personal data.
If you no longer wish to use our services, you can request to have your account and all related data permanently deleted.

What Will Be Deleted

When you request deletion, the following will be permanently erased:

  • Your user account information (name, email, username, etc.).

  • Any business listings you have added to Haba Naija.

  • Forum posts, replies, and private messages.

  • Uploaded files such as images and documents.

Note: Some information, such as financial transaction records, may be retained for tax or legal purposes, as required by Nigerian law.

How Long It Takes

  • Most deletion requests are processed within 7 business days.

  • In some cases, complete removal from backups may take up to 30 days.

Important Notice

Once your data is deleted:

  • You will not be able to recover your account or listings.

  • Forum posts will be permanently removed and cannot be restored.

  • Any active subscriptions will be canceled immediately.
