Together We Care charity organisation based in Ilorin, Nigeria, through its management trustee, Mr Temitope Odurinde has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the country’s Diamond Jubilee and also made an appeal to generous Nigerians and the general public to donate munificently to the ‘Help a Gran’ campaign of the organisation for the purpose of taking care of its registered indigent grannies and enrol more.

Temi Odurinde, disclosed this in a press release to commemorate Nigeria’s sixtieth independence anniversary on 1st October, in which he noted that many more people among the elderly population are sliding into extreme poverty following the collapse of the local economy, on account of the COVID 19 pandemic. 

The statement further added that beyond the civil Independence, we must also put all hands on deck to achieve social and economic Independence, which can only be attainable when Nigerians believe in helping one another, by extending the hands of care to the vulnerable senior citizens and other less privileged.

The management trustee congratulated Nigerians for journeying this far as a united entity and encourages Nigerians to remain steadfast and patriotic in helping one another.
