It is a fact that a  lot of students struggle to pass Utme year in year out in Nigeria. In millions of cases, the Utme exam has been a huge roadblock to many Nigerians  student’s journey to tertiary institutions.

National Open University of Nigeria

The National Open University was established to help individuals who are advanced in age, or engaged in some other activities such as employment or other responsibilities to have access to tertiary education.

Every program in the National open University does not require a jamb exam.

NOUN has campuses are all over Nigeria’s major cities.The application procedures are quite simple.

You will be required to pay an application fee through their portal https://www.nou.org.ng/www-nouonlinenet-com-student-login/.

Fill the form that entails the details of the programme you’re applying for as well as your O’level details and other required relevant information.

If you meet all the requirements, you will be offered admission to study the course of your choice in NOUN. Often times, the most important requirement is your O’level result.

Interim Joint Admission Matriculation Board (IJMB)

This is another way to get admission into the University without jamb or utme in Nigeria. Usually, the (IJMB) is a 12-18 months program which is accepted in most Northern Universities.

This program allows a direct entry into 200 level. In some universities, it is called Diploma.

Cambridge A level program

Another way to gain admission into Nigeria Universities without jamb is Cambridge A level program. Just like IJMB, it is a program of 12-18 months in the University of one’s choice.

The program entails you to attend lectures and write an exam after the end of the program. The result of the exam qualifies you for a direct entry application into the University of your choice.
