Two-Nigerian-fixing-ventilators

The power of human empathy, leading to collective and saving lives is one of the most valuable things we humans can do on this planet earth.

While the world has been forced to sit on a standstill because of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, killing thousands of people due to the lack of adequate medical facilities, two brave Nigerians have made bold to make their huge and highly commendable decisions to contribute the own quoter in eradicating the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.

Gyang and Nura Jubril are the two heroes that are making efforts to change the COVID-19 narratives in the University of Jos teaching hospital.

The two Nigerian software engineers discovered that there were 40 faulty machines at the university hospital, saddled themselves with the responsibility of fixing the ventilators for free.

Reports have confirmed that they have fixed two and are working on the other.

This simple, yet remarkable act is highly commendable, we at Haba Naija believe that the world will be a better place with people like Gyang and Nura Jubril
