TX Stock Photos now accepts blog contributors. Before you sign up, there are some rules  you need to understand and abide before you can begin.

I started permitting contributions, because not everyone has a website, and therefore not everyone has the opportunity to write about photography. To begin, head over to the sign up page, and register!

  • Contributors are permitted to write a bio in which they are allowed one dofollow hyper-link, however, the link will only be dofollow if the website is relevant (about photography or similar) and contains  unique content, no spam and good writing quality.
  • Please note, I will only permit posts of a good standard to be published on this website, and any content you submit must be unique, 500 words or over, and grammatically correct. Also, the topic you choose may not be a topic already published on this site (Please use the main website search box to verify this, though ensure you click older entries to look at older posts as the site search box is very bad).
  • Substandard work will be ignored, and if the contributor submits a web link in the article, this will be made nofollow.
  • Articles may not be of promotional quality.
What is Dofollow?

Technically, dofollow does not exist, it is simply the absence of a nofollow tag. ”Nofollow” tells search robots not to follow the link, so the website will not get visits from bots, and therefore, no PageRank will be transmitted. This will mean Search Engine Ranking  will not be improved, and the link will have no benefit.

So, if you decide to contribute, and have a website, you can in effect get a free link and some free traffic (but only if your website is relevant to photography or SEO)!
