Back in December, Ouya shipped out the developer edition of its Android based gaming consoles to third-party developers. A few weeks ago, the company launched a 10 day “game jam” called CREATE. CREATE was an idea to challenge third-party developers to create game prototypes for the Ouya. To reward developers for their hard work, the Ouya team offered up to $45,000 in prizes in exchange for great games submitted by Ouya third-party developers.

The console itself comes with a controller for only $99 US, while an additional controller will cost an extra $30 US. The cost of shipping within the United States is $10 US, while international shipping will set the customer back at $20. According to Ouya.tv, the device’s expected delivery is in April, 2013.
